Strawberry peak and the “this is not a trail” trail

Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

Strawberry peak was a gorgeous moderate hike and easy to follow. It's pretty flat until the last mile or so. We could see a smog covered DTLA from the top. On our way back we decided to take the firebreak up to Mt. Lawlor. It's almost straight up at times and is very loose dirt and rocks the whole way. We got pretty banged up on the descent. Don't recommend unless you're a nutjob.
