It was a beautiful day for a hike. It was a little windy, particularly at the summit but nothing a light windbreaker couldn't handle. The first 2.5 miles were quick and easy going. The last 1.25 miles were challenging and technical but a lot of fun. There are a few false summits before reaching the peak but that just added to the challenge. We enjoyed a light lunch and some beverages on the summit before heading back down. I highly recommend this hike. The total distance I logged was 7.46 miles and hiking times was 3 hours, 16 minutes.
