First hike of the 2020 Challenge. As someone looking to get their feet wet, this is an amazing first hike to begin for beginners. In total, the hike was around 7.5 miles. Finished it in under 5 hours. As we arrived at Red Box Picnic area, there was snow all over the trail. However, it wasn't anything crazy. Still accessible to hike. As you get to the top and above the fog/cloud, small snow drops began to fall. Very cold. I don't expect the snow to be there much longer as we're getting closer to the summer days. However, I felt great and would recommend this hike to anyone. Especially those who want to begin small before taking the more difficult hikes.
