This hike kicked my butt! Â It was a great way to start the year and start the 2020 Six Pack of Peaks challenge. Â The beginning of the hike was fairly flat and easy but had amazing views both toward LA and back towards the mountains. Â After the first few miles, the hike started to get steeper and a bit snowier. Â The three false peaks really got me, each time I thought I was almost there I had further to go. Â It was very challenging in that last mile to the top but glad I stuck it out. Â I was really concerned about the snow but my poles were more than enough to help me through. Â Overall took me a little over four hours.
