I started my bonus peak for Six Pack of Peaks: New England on the Hunt Trail up to Mount Katahdin Summit. The plan was to catch a sunrise at the summit and hit the Knife Edge Trail. Trail had some challenging points where one would need to use not only strength from the lower body but upper body as well. The weather started out clear but by the time I got near the summit it become very cloudy and windy. Decided due to being in the clouds, winds picked up and rocky trail became wet. Due to conditions I decided not to do The Knife Edge Trail!

The hike was challenging, had some amazing views when not in the clouds that were amazing and it was worth every step. Definitely recommend this hike to others but must be prepared for conditions. Hopefully others don’t  get stuck in the clouds!
