I started my fifth peak for Six Pack of Peaks: New England on the Long Trail Trail to Mount Mansfield Summit. From summit went down Cliff side Trail and then took the service road. Trails were heavily worn from foot traffic on the way up and on the way down trails became challenging and more technical. At the summit with the clear day offering amazing 360 views.
The hike had pretty challenging points, had amazing views of both US and Canada! Had blue skies and some clouds but was able see for miles. Had a perfect for a day hike. Mount Mansfield didn’t disappoint. Definitely worth hiking and recommend it to others.
