Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

On Cucamonga one can see some primitive campsites and I had wondered what it would be like to spend the night up on the mountain. So I lugged my gear and two days of water up to the top, and had the entire peak to myself on a weekday. Sunrise was magnificent, and I will surely do it again.
