Early morning meet up 6am.. First hike in a few months so i was excited.. Morning breeze was great. Not cloudy but the cool in the air was needed.  Started off great till i saw the elevation gain and i was a little anxious. The girls in the group were very encouraging and kind.. The up and downhill of this mountain is no joke.. Once i saw the last uphill of this thing i was literally dying inside… I didn't think i was going to peak it.. But hours later there i was beautiful 360 views .. amazing group of woman.. A celebratory drink at the top and a quick 5 min nap.. WE DID IT!!! After about 30 min we decided to make the trip down.. Cause you kind of have too…but boy did my knees feel it halfway down my knee was done i couldn't walk straight and had to take all downhills backwards or side stepped… If i could have rolled my way out i would have… With the sun setting and what could have been a mountain lion sounding off the race out of there was in desperate need. Headlights on… Except for myself… Forgetting to restock your bag after cleaning seemed to pass me by… We enjoyed the stars shinning and the shooting stars ….  7 pm came around and we put notch under our belt…and called it a day….
