Left IHC at 5:20am to beat the crowds (It didn't work) and had breakfast at the saddle. From here on I had a beautiful trip accross to Kelly camp and above. I only saw a few groups of people and the trail was covered in thick pines and manzanita. Chipmunks, birds, and lizards ran around me as if they had no fear at all. The weather was absolutely perfect. My view from the top of Big Horn of Baldy, the Ts, Cucamonga, and Ontario was far better then I thought it would be. Pretty much the entire hike has this crazy open view to Baldy Bowl that will make you want to come right back. I will be back to camp for sure.
