So glad that the San Gorgonio wilderness is open again! we backpacked in and stayed near Dollar Lake (which was dry) and hiked up to watch the sunset at the peak. The sign was gone (I found out later it was hidden under the rocks) and it was super windy at the peak but the view was amazing.
The damage from last year's (and previous years) fires were evident but there was also a lot of new growth. Lots of green shrubs, ferns and wild flowers!
