The hike was family-friendly except near the end where the area becomes really steep. It’s tough but doable! The weather was perfect for this moderate hike (not too cold, not too hot). I felt good, especially because I was able to spend it with my aunt and her dog. We started hiking the trail at around 3pm and we reached the peak at around 6pm. I wasn’t too tired when I reached the top, but unfortunately, the dog was. Sunset is usually around 7pm, so we decided to stick around for that and the view there is great! The area at the top is small but thankfully we were the only ones up there. Coming back down was a challenge because we left the peak after sunset, when it gets dark, and we had to watch out for the dog. My aunt isn’t a huge a fan of night hikes, so coming back down was quick and entertaining. In the end, the hike was not a challenge, for the most part, but it was definitely a nice experience!
