My friend and I drove up to the Bay Area this week to hike the Nor Cal peaks. After we checked into our Vbro, we headed to Mt. Diablo state park to start our hike. We got to the summit just in time for sunset, which was amazing! The Native Californians believed this mountain was the point of creation and consider the mountain a sacred place. It was a great first peak to start our week of peaks!
