Enjoyed a chilly but sunny hike. There has been some trail traffic, but following foot tracks or snowmobile tread can quickly lead away from trail. Easy to navigate to summit using OnX app that was previously downloaded (no cell service at TH). Summit was clear of snow with amazing views. Explored the mining buildings and ghost town on the way back down.

Where did you start? Was the road accessible all the way to mother lode TH? I enjoyed this trail last year but it was later in the year without any worry of snow. But I’m itching to go again. The old mines are super cool!
