Started at 09:15, so it was already getting warm.

Took a bit to find the parking area as there are NO SIGNS that this the right place. Trust the pin drop from the description. There is a small, not obvious turn into a gravel drive with a wire gate across it. Open the gate and drive thru. Remember to close the gate!!

The trailer is very easy to follow for the first 2 miles, although it was quite rough from cattle walking on it when it was muddy.

At 2 miles the trail becomes much less obvious, but still noticeable and still a little rough. At this point it was quite warm, and the trail was steeper than I anticipated. 1600 ft on 3+ miles didn't sound like a steep grade, but it was a steady climb.

We finally made the summit, snapped a few pictures and headed back. The views are gorgeous, but we waited too late in the year for this one. It was hot and very little shade.
