Sutton Mountain – This time with dogs!

The forecast was ominous, but we lucked out. No rain at all…only a brief minute or two with hail.
I met up with Lucas and Megan as part of the Bend Hiking Meetup. I brought along my two labradoodles Lucy and Farley, and we were joined once again by the same curious ranch dog that hiked with me in February. I was able to learn her name is Patch 2.0.
Met another challenger on his way down. He asked about the private property sign at the gate about 2 miles in. Note that you can go straight through the gate and follow the faint jeep trail as is curves left and heads uphill.
Lots of wildflowers blooming!
