Mt. Tamalpais from Stinson Beach is one of the most visually stunning hikes around. I like to do this long loop counter clockwise starting on the Dipsea trail and then climbing up the Steep Ravine Trail to Pan Toll Ranger Station before rejoining the Matt Davis Trail and then then the Fern Creek Trail ending up on the East Peak Fire lookout. Today’s hike saw blue skies, cool temps, and light wind.

As always the climb from Stinson Beach brought breathtaking views of the Pacific, the forest, and eventually 360 degree views showing off Mt. St. Helena, Mt. Diablo, Mission Peak, to name a few. Looking forward to what the 2019 NorCal Six Pack has left in store view wise.
