Mount Diablo: Woo! I’m so stoked, 4/6 of the NorCal six peak challenge completed! We started at 8am with some pretty chilly temperatures at the beginning. The hike was surprisingly shady, which I definitely was not expecting for Mount Diablo. We got to the summit around 11. There’s a visitor center/ observation desk at the summit, and oh my…is it windy! To be honest, I t take a lot of pictures of the view at the summit because it just didn’t do it justice..but it really is worth seeing. I could see ALL of the Bay Area, it was such a nice clear day. I still can’t walk hahah… Side Note: I learned it’s tarantula mating season ????
