That Last Quarter Mike of Sitton Peak!

San Juan Loop Trail- Ortega Highway 74

Day hike

Trail Conditions:

Trail in good condition

ROAD:

Road suitable for all vehicles

Bugs:

Bugs were not too bad

Snow:

Snow free

We tried to start early at 0645 and even though it only got into the low 80s today, it felt too hot.  This hike is beautiful but that last 0.4 miles to the summit is treacherous!!  It was just shy of 10 miles and took us 5 hours total to hike.  We definitely enjoyed our time on the summit and staying longer than we had planned!
