So this hike was prompted by something special. A post on the socal hiking subreddit asked if a hydro flask would keep a burrito warm enough to make it to the summit of San Antonio. Curious myself, and without a good answer in the comments, I decided to get to work. I got to Manker Flats at around 8, I took register ridge up, since it was the most direct route to the top. It was stupid windy but there was clear skies and no real issues getting up. Once I summited, I enjoyed the burrito and came down the backbone, where I was thrown around by the wind for a bit. This was actually my second time this year summiting Baldy, the first time was through the ski hut trail, but by far this time was more fun.
