After sending out a selfie on top of Camelback mountain, my jealous sister (suffering through a cold Utah winter) determined to come down to Arizona to do one of these hikes with us.  That happened on Saturday, March 7.  We did this 10 mile hike along the Hugh Norris trail up to Wasson Peak and back.

I had a lot of fun pointing out the multitude of vegetation along this trail.  Ocotillo was in bloom, and wildflowers were abundant.  It was a fantastic day and my sister and her son got all of the sun they wanted.  In fact, they looked a little pink as they headed back on a plane this morning – back to a Utah snowstorm.

Parking can be an issue.  Both trailheads were pretty full, but we were lucky and got a prime parking spot.
