I asked my family do you want to join me for a hike or ride your bikes while I‘m running? They decided for this hike and loved it! With all the rocks on the trail and all the green tunnels the kids called it the enchanted hike of Arizona because we’ve never done such a green hike so far. Unfortunately we couldn‘t drive to Peralta Trailhead because it‘s actually closed so we parked at another trailhead and had to hike about a half mile to the start. See we lost a little bit of time and were late. About half a mile before the could see Fremont Saddle my husband and the two little boys turned around and made they way back while the big boy and I made it to the top! Good decision. We haven‘t spent much time on the top and hiked down faster then we hiked up and meet the rest of the family about 2 miles down so we all together hiked back to the car. When we reached the car it was already dark outside. So just in time.
