As the title states, I was hungover for this hike. I survived, summited, and didn't throw up. The trail was in good condition on a warm sunny 83-degree day in SoCal (in February!). Due to my hangover, we did get a late start. Parking was a disaster and we ended up having to park a mile away from the starting trail. My partner, my father, was not too pleased. The added parking milage brought our hike to 16 miles. All in all, a great day, a great hike and I learned my lesson, no shots the night before. My father, being a die-hard Laker and Kobe fan, wore his jersey the entire hike in honor of Kobe. The view above LA and my dad proudly wearing Kobe's jersey is a day I won't forget. #DOITFORKOBE.
