The hottest and longest hike of my life

It was about 95 degrees by the time we were close to the summit so the last 0.3 miles up to the lookout point was excruciating. It was extremely hot and sunny but a great hike nonetheless. We actually got a bit lost about a few miles in. We went too far and ended up having to double back half a mile in order to get back on the right trail.
