Adventure Seekers: share a post on Thursday night about the AZ 6-Peak Challenge and have a half dozen friends who want to join in. Two say, “Let’s get started on Saturday!”

Groupthink: when you set out to do 4 mile “strenuous” hike and while pulling into town say this other hike that is 10 miles sounds ”fun.”

Grace: when 1/2 miles into heading back you do the most epic of falls…literally sliding as if trying to steal home base headfirst into a small but nonetheless solid tree trunk.

Adrenaline: bloody and covered from head to toe in dirt, run down the mountain no realizing until 2/3 down that arm is throbbing a bit.

Accomplishment: first of 6 hikes in the books and all still smiling.

Doctor Report: Fractured left arm but oh what a hike!
