Getting to the trailhead was sketchy because I don't drive a high clearance vehicle (Kia Optima), so I parked down from the trailhead. My hiking partner got a 15 min head start so throughout the hike I was playing catch up hoping if he was at the top he'll wait for me. Took me under 4hrs to get the top and it's always that last half a mile that's the hardest. It's so close but you're gonna have to earn it. Made it to the top and met partner. He told me he just got there about 5mins before me and I was like WHOA! I was really pushing it. I was determined to get there as fast as I can and eventually made it there at a faster time than he did. Got a amazing view of Baldy, Cucamonga, Ontario, Big Bear lake and our next targets San Gorgonio and San Jacinto. We're coming for ya.
