My cycling buddy asked if I wanted to hike in the nearby Almaden-Quicksilver park, on New Year’s Day. My response? “Not interested. I need to get started on my 2020 Sixpack! Let’s do Umunhum!” In 2019, I ended up doing three of the more difficult peaks in December. I resolve not to do that in 2020. Off to a good start!
