Peak #3 in the bag! And that’s it for the mountains in the southern part of New England!

Monadnock was surprisingly shorter then Mt. Greylock, definitely steeper but this one unexpectedly took less time.

The trail itself was really solid, the challenge was absolutely the weather this time. Today was scorching hot around the 90s F and I was able to barley avoid an incoming Thunderstorm that rolled through while I was on my way down.

The temperature is supposed to drop starting tomorrow so hopefully this will be the last we see of the heat, at least for awhile. This was actually the first peak I haven’t done before and it was still a good hike. 3 down, 8 to go!
