The most beautiful spring morning with fog rolling through the hills as the birds were chirping. My service pup and I went up counterclockwise and went up Trespass Trail Loop and connected up with Gaviota Peak. It was a longer way up to Gaviota Peak, but when I went in the morning by myself the mustard grass was over grown over my head. I got a bit nervous about mountain lions, so we headed back down the mountain and up the opposite side (Trespass trail)

Trail conditions were good. Some eroded areas from the storms and big fallen rocks/trees. In certain areas the path was pretty overgrown and lots of ticks so make sure to wear appropriate clothing.
