Too Long and Too Many Bugs High Point Palomar

Bugs were an annoyance

We started at 0615 and had the mountain to ourselves!  The bugs were really bad the last few miles to the summit and on the way down in the same spot.  It is a tough hike and the way up just doesn't end!

Saw a few baby rattlesnakes right in the middle of the trail so keep your eyes open!
