Nice cool weather, but quite a slog with all of the elevation and lots of narrow single-track trail on scree. Enjoyed the stream near the trailhead, nice forest and vistas. Also hiked up Timber Mountain from the saddle after returning from Cucamonga. Made for quite a day.
