Hike #2 of my San Diego 6 Pack challenge.
This is a fairly easy trail.
Ran into some coyotes towards the top. I had let my dog Kona off her leash for a minute to check out a patch of snow (she's never seen snow before). She started to chase after some birds in the tall grass and then a bunch of coyotes popped up that were hiding in the grass. She proceeded to run towards the coyotes with me screaming for her to “LEAVE IT!” and “KONA COME”. She finally came back to me and was quickly leashed up.
