Despite the number of vehicles parked at the trailhead and the number of hikers out on the trail, the trail itself did not seem so crowded. There were stretches along the trail where I did not see any other hiker. The weather was sunny but there was enough wind to keep the trail cool. There were a number of wildflowers along the trail. While it wasn't a superbloom there were enough to add color to the trail. I did the loop starting from King Canyon trail to the summit then returned via Hugh Norris trail to the Sendero Esperanza trail and then reached the trailhead via the Gould Mine trail. Hike started at 1305 and ended at 1725H.
