Last hike of the year….. Wasson Peak in Saguro National Park. Perfect close to 2018, as we started hiking the winds blew, closed poppys and bright brittlebush lined the trail. So much beauty in the desert, but as we grew near the peak we noticed storms brewing in the distance. Quickly we celebrated, took a few pics and headed down. We safely got to the car (limping a little since we’ve hiked 4 peaks in the last 2 days) and then the downpour came. We were just in time.
