This hike was very interesting! I enjoyed the long hike from start to finish… although I was sure we were never going to finish. We thought one mountain was the peak, only to realize it was over yonder. It was really fun seeing all the prickly pear on the cacti. We also saw a deer towards the end of the hike when the sun had been out for a little. We started early and there were no bugs and it was breezy. towards the end, the sun was high in the sky and the bugs came out to play near your ears. This hike was fun and I am glad we accomplished another mountain!
