Great day for a hike. Still plenty of parking at 7:30. Nice trail, in fine condition. I'd say most of the trail is shaded with your typical forest trees. It didn't take long to reach to Mt Pinos. The distance to Sawmill Mt is a little longer but not difficult. We were rewarded with spectacular views at the top. We decided to accept the challenge and march onward to peak #3, Grouse Mountain. It took a bit longer since the temperatures started to warm up, but we had plenty of water. Bagging all three peaks in one day is totally doable. All in all a very enjoyable outing.
