Made this a weekend camping trip at Chula Vista campground next to the Nordic Center.  We claimed our spot, and hit the trail.  Just past the summit is a scenic overlook which has some very nice views.  We went on to tackle Sawmill Mountain, and then back to the campsite to get the fire going!
