Took longer than expected, close to 10 hrs, round trip, at a leisurely pace. My hiking partner had a tough time of it and bailed on me halfway up, so I had to make it to the summit on my own. The weather was great – clear skies, not too hot, not too cold – so there were a lot more hikers than I would have liked. (Interestingly enough, it snowed at the peak several days later!!) Also encountered several cyclists coming down towards me on a single track trail close to the peak, which surprised me. Visitor center at the peak closed due to covid.
