Started at Chantry Flat and hiked on to Sturtevant Falls. Made our way through both camps and slugged away to the top. Once at the top it got cold and everything everywhere was wet. Visibility was null with the clouds and fog conditions. Never found the Wilson sign but found the marker. Rained off and on throughout the day but being underneath the forest canopy helped not getting soaked. Mud was not an issue on the trail. Worked our way down via the Upper Winter Creek Trail. It was worth doing it in this weather to avoid the crowds.
