When the drive is longer and the hike is shorter, the snow makes it worth it ❄️⛰????

Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

The trail was covered in snow, some areas there was ice and ice under the snow we used microspikes it made it way easier to hike, we saw people hiking without microspikes. You didn’t need them but it made it easier and safer. It was 23 degrees in the beginning, windy at times and that made it cold brrr. The hike was beautiful and sunny with so much snow. There was so many people there playing in the snow. This was a great start for 2019 with friends.
