It's was a beautiful sunny day for a hike. I couldn't have asked for better weather. I arrived at 6 and started the hike at 630. After some beautiful waterfalls and rock scrambling, I had finally reached little haystack when I saw this group of 4 men and one of them had a tiny pistol. I overheard the conversation about the pistol. The guy with the pistol looked out in the distance and with a serious tone, said “it's not the people that I am afraid of. It's the grizzly bears”. I didn't realize there was a grizzly bear in the white mountains.

I continued on my hike. The weather was just right. No matter what mountain I climb in NH, the views are breathtaking and unexplainable. A great travel the the trailhead and a great hike.
