Beautiful hike! A little bit of ice/snow on the road to the parking lot but drivable (Toyota RAV4, also saw a sedan parked). Packed/crunchy snow with some patches of ice on entire trail but with shoe chains/micro-spikes it's very doable– having hiking poles would probably be helpful. It was a steady climb up to the top where you'll go through forested areas as well as more exposed portions, all with fantastic views (especially at the top). We were very lucky weather-wise with a clear, crisp, sunny day. Hike ended up being a little over 10 miles rather than the estimated 8-9 miles, not sure if this is because the trail had been covered in snow and we followed one that was slightly off, either way it was totally worth it, took us about 4 hours with breaks.
