Pretty cool hike. Definitely would recommending stopping at different points along the switchbacks/stairs on the way up. Can get crowded and you pay to park on weekends at Poway lake.
Definitely overexerted trying to get up the stairs without taking a break. It was great to get the picture on potato chip rock b/c that is how you really know if someone lives in SoCal. Also the view was great. Could see out to the ocean and maybe catalina(?) I'm not to familiar but I think someone mentioned that. Also, saw some cute dogs on the way so that's always a win.
