We tackled both Sedona summits in one day, beginning with Wilson Mountain, as the sun was rising with canopies of color all around us, ascending to the most awe-inspiring views overlooking Sedona. In my opinion, Fall is the BEST time to hike Sedona, with perfect weather and blankets of red, yellow, and orange covering the terrain. We started this hike at 7 a.m. and it was 55 degrees, but as we ascended the sun rising over the mountain was a warm welcome. There were minor obstacles with a few trees having fallen over the path, but very manageable. It took roughly 2 hours to reach the summit and proceed to the outlook, and we finished the loop around 11 a.m.
