The weather was beautiful yesterday. The blooming wildflowers made for a gorgeous hike. We also encountered a flock of turkeys at the start and end of our hike. It was a nice challenge. We did the loop clockwise, which turned out to be a good decision. The eastern side has lots of loose rock and is a narrow single track trail. It was much easier going up with these types of conditions. This made for an easy hike down the western side on a fire road without an injuries, lol.
