I am not a rock scramble fan, and the last mile is all that. Beautiful views and wildflowers! The hike is up up but gradual and a lovely walk through shade to begin with – lots of birds chirping!
wear long pants as it is a little overgrown toward the end and wear shoes that don’t hurt your toes because it’s all downhill on the way back. Lots of gravel that makes it marbles on glass.
the smell of pine trees is lovely toward the end!
