Weather was perfect. Windy at the plateau and up through the first bench. 66 degrees in Sedona on Sunday! Breezy and actually a little chilly at the top. Terrain was varied between loose rock, sand, and a little scrambling but nothing major.
From out of the gate the views were stunning.
I felt great but my left knee was struggling towards the end (injured at Bear Mtn. last weekend). Incline was gradual for most of the way. Only counted 11 other people. Get to TH early. I was the 2nd car in the lot! Hike started at 7am. This is Sedona. It gets packed very quick.
