A cool spring morning was a great start for this trail. The first two miles or so are the most technical with some steep switchbacks and lots of loose rock. I highly recommend poles. Once through this stretch, the trail levels out and continues up to the top with lightly sloped switchbacks. The views are truly OUTSTANDING with lush forest to the north and red rock canyon to the south. Absolutely lovely. Next time we will go up from the bridge but will definitely be going back for those spectacular views again.
