Bugs were not too bad

Snow free

Beautiful hike with variety of vegetation and decent shade.  Go early to avoid the heat and the tourist traffic on 89A in the summer.  Amazing views of Sedona red rocks, Verde Valley and Mt Humphreys from the top.
