Small parking lot at the Midgley Bridge TH. Red Rocks Pass required for parking. Small vault toilet available. Gradual climb that levels off at the top where you can take in the views from two viewpoints, one looking north towards Humphreys and another overlooking the red rocks and town center of Sedona. Both views are spectacular. The TH was very busy when I finished my hike but the trail itself was lightly traveled. Rocky trail in sections but well marked and easy to follow. Sedona was crazy busy for the 4th of July weekend but this trail was not. I saw less than 10 people all day. I would rate this hike as moderate given the elevation and distance. It took about 5 hours to complete including stops for snacks and chatting with other hikers at the summit. This was one of the most beautiful hikes I've done. I'd highly recommend it and will return to it again!
