3rd Peak.
We parked our vehicle at Chantry Flat parking lot then took Forest Rte 2N40, Gabrieleno Trail/Sturtevant Trail. Compared to last year (Mt Wilson Trail), I believe this route is better, easier and with more stuff to see . A ton of dams that was built way back in 1960, I was able to make a quick detour to see Sturtevant Falls and we enjoyed the swing at Sturtevant Campground during our snack break. On our way down we took Mt Wilson Trail, Winter Creek Trail and ended up taking Upper winter Creek Trial because we missed a turn 🙂 .
